British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM


Middlesex University London is pleased to announce the British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM for the 2021/22 academic year.

In partnership with the British Council, Middlesex University London is offering six fully funded scholarships for female students studying on an eligible programme from the one of the countries list below.

The Scholarships aim to support girls and women who are under-represented in STEM. Applicants will be required to demonstrate their financial need and how they would inspire future generations of women to pursue a career in STEM.

How to apply and deadline

You can apply by completing either online form Scholarship Application Form and email to STEMScholarships@mdx.ac.uk .

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is 2pm (GMT) on Wednesday 9 March 2022 whereas the notification will be made on Friday 16 April 2022.

Please ensure you have fully read and understood the eligibility criteria before applying. You need to apply any of the above eligible course first in advance.

What is included in the scholarship?

Each scholarship covers full tuition fees, a monthly stipend for a year and a return flight (economic fare). It also covers other related costs including the IELTS exam fee and pre-sessional English course. Additional funding is available if scholars have caring responsibilities.

How many scholarships are available?

There are six British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM available in total. Personal Data
